About Us

WARWICKSHIRE SPINE CLINIC

The Warwickshire Spine Clinic was established in 2010 due to the demand for the high quality management of spinal conditions in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. The two lead clinicians, Mr Nilam Shergill and Mr Robert Sneath work closely together and with a team of dedicated therapists and other specialists to provide a comprehensive, structured approach to the management of back and neck problems.

Ethos

We aim to provide the best possible care to people with spinal problems. This care will encompass individualised treatment, fully understanding that people do not want surgery and would prefer to try a more conservative approach first. We will give the patient the information to make an informed decision highlighting the potential risks and advantages of all forms of treatment.

We believe that the best way to achieve a successful outcome is to fully understand the patient’s problems, come to an accurate diagnosis and offer all the potential evidence based treatment options tailored to each patient’s individual needs. This also allows the Patient to make an informed and shared decision regarding their treatment plan.

The team

Over the years we have developed a close working relationship with allied professionals including Physiotherapists, Chiropractics, Osteopaths, Occupational therapists, Interventional Radiologists, Rheumatologists, Neurophysiologists and Pain Consultants. This enables a rapid, reliable and efficient means of diagnosing your problem and starting prompt appropriate treatment. This allows us to discuss many of our cases at our regular Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings so that we can give more accurate and considered advice to our patients.

WARWICKSHIRE HIP & KNEE CLINIC

The Hip & Knee Clinic was established in 2005 and became the Warwickshire Hip and Knee Clinic in 2011. Mr Foguet is a fellowship trained hip and knee reconstruction surgeon. He works closely together with a team of dedicated therapists and other specialists to provide a comprehensive, structured approach to the management of established hip and knee osteoarthritis. Mr Foguet is also an expert in the revision of failing hip and knee replacements.

Ethos

We aim to provide the best possible care for patients with hip and knee problems likely to require replacement or reconstructive surgery and to patients with failing hip or knee replacement expected to need a revision. This care will encompass individualised treatment. We will give the patient all the information to make an informed decision highlighting the potential risks and advantages of the different treatment alternatives. Because we appreciate that each one of our patients are unique we believe that the best way to achieve a successful outcome is to fully understand the problems. We then come to an accurate diagnosis and offer all the potential evidence based treatment options tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
