“Nilam Shergill and Robert Sneath have worked closely together for over 15 years and continue to do so. Nilam Shergill works only privately whereas Robert Sneath continues with his NHS practice too.”
“They are both actively involved in research, teaching, training and audit, and are also part of the prestigious Warwick University Orthopaedic Academic Department. Clinically they meet regularly to discuss the diagnosis, treatment and management of their patients and in addition regularly present their cases at the local MDT meetings to get the input of other spinal and radiology consultants in particular. As a team, over the years, they have built up close working relationships with allied health professionals in the region to enable the provision of a comprehensive and holistic approach to the management of spinal conditions”.
Mr Robert Sneath is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He specialises in the diagnosis, management and surgical treatment of spinal problems.
I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust in 2000. Prior to this I trained on the NW Thames orthopaedic surgical training programme. In addition I spent 1year as the Zimmer Spinal Research Fellow and a further year as a Clinical Spinal fellow, both at the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
